Privacy policy

GoodTen helps adults who are already at a children’s play venue start a short in-person conversation. This page describes what the current iOS app collects. It is written for App Store Review and for you.

What we never collect

• Child names, photos, birth dates, schools, or profiles
• Precise location of one user shown to another user (no peer map pins)
• Message bodies in analytics

Location

With your permission, GoodTen uses When In Use location on the Here screen to rank listed playgrounds near this phone and to draw those listed sites on Apple Maps. You still tap I’m here to confirm. We do not automatically check you in. A New York phone does not download a Texas directory. Coordinates used for ranking and for an optional “missing tot-lot” report stay on our servers for operations; they are not published as a venue and are not shown to other people.

Account

TestFlight currently uses a demo login and, for live presence tests, an anonymous session. Sign in with Apple will identify your account when that native build ships. Peers see a handle and the topics you chose for this visit — not your job title, company, or income. We do not put your Apple email on a peer card.

Missing playground reports

If no listed play place is nearby, you may flag the block. That creates an operations-only point for us to review. It does not list a new venue and does not let you match people at that GPS point.
